The Finance Manager – Premium will play a key role in supporting the new Premium business to deliver on its strategic agenda. With a commercial and analytical focus, this role will partner with the Premium leadership team, including Premium, to provide transparency and insights on performance and own all aspects of financial management. The Finance Manager will lead reporting, planning, and forecasting activities, ensuring decision-making is data-driven and aligned with strategic goals, while managing key risks and opportunities to optimise business outcomes across Premium and the broader premium portfolio. 

As a strategic partner to Premium leaders, you will drive collaboration and ensure the effective execution and understanding of financial and commercial strategies. You will foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence by role-modeling company values and ways of working. Additionally, you will contribute to broader finance team priorities, supporting a one-team approach that is aligned with Premium's strategic and financial objectives.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

  • Lead strategic planning processes for Premium, leveraging data and insights to identify key growth opportunities.
  • Develop and implement a performance measurement framework to drive commercial accountability across Premium leadership. Leverage existing performance management processes for Cellar stores.
  • Oversee consolidated profitability reporting (Cellars, Langton’s and any other Premium initiatives), including month-end P&L results and supporting commentary, ensuring transparency and clarity on financial outcomes.
  • Own and manage planning processes, including annual budgeting and monthly forecasts, aligning business objectives with financial goals and understanding their broader implications.
  • Provide visibility into business performance by identifying risks, opportunities, and emerging trends, ensuring strategic decisions are informed and actionable.
  • Evaluate key investment decisions using metrics like IRR, NPV, and ROI, providing an objective analysis to assess project benefits and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Partner with internal business leaders across Premium to understand reporting and analytical needs, delivering scalable, data-driven solutions to enhance decision-making.
  • Lead commercial discussions across the Endeavour Group, aligning cross-functional teams in warehousing, delivery, technology/eX, aligned to the Premium and Retail strategic goals.

What do we need from you

Now let’s talk about you:

  • Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience with CA/CPA qualification.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • Effective communication and storytelling skills, simplifying complex financial information for diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in financial planning, performance reporting, and P&L management within a commercial environment.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, balancing priorities and managing financial risks.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, partnering across teams to drive business performance.
  • Proficiency in financial systems, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Retail or FMCG experience desirable.& associated programs
