The Head of Gaming will lead and deliver procurement strategies specifically for Gaming channels at ALH Hotels. This role involves partnering effectively with the Head of Gaming Operations to understand their business needs, ensuring that Gaming buying decisions are appropriate and aligned with the overarching Gaming strategy.  Additionally, the Head of Gaming Procurement will work with the Technology Team on parts procurement for both EGM’s and ALH gaming operating systems. 

The role also includes commercial accountability for service contracts, supplier management, game and machine procurement, and business lead for the Advanced Analytics work streams, fostering continuous improvement and innovation through effective Supplier Management and data lead decision making.

Here is a taste of what you can expect in this role:

• Leading a team of four direct reports
• Leading and delivery of the ALH gaming procurement strategy and priorities, including machine procurement, game procurement, supplier relationships and machine maintenance contracts
• Develop Advanced Analytics Incubator Use Cases
• Creation and implementation of purchasing strategies through understanding spend, market forces and innovation within the categories 
• Running sourcing activities and supplier negotiation, following Endeavour’s Procurement policy 
• Develop, implement and manage vendor performance metrics, documents and reporting as part of a Supplier Relationship Management plan (metrics, compliance, continuous improvement plans)
• Develop and execute robust negotiation plans, understanding commercial levers to create value for ALH
• Support Procurement deliverables of Endeavours Sustainability Strategy working with key stakeholders and influencing outcomes 
• Ensure risk, governance and quality are considered in all Procurement activities

Now let’s talk about you: 

• Minimum 5 years experience in a senior procurement and/or category management role, gaming would be advantageous
• Sound appreciation of category management principles and processes, with an understanding of contract law
• Successfully used spend management systems and enhanced functionality and user experience 
• Sound understanding of Procurement Processes, Policies and Frameworks
• Strategic planning, analysis and execution skills
• Strong results focus on achieving the optimum outcome with a continuous improvement skill set
• Tertiary qualified in Procurement, Supply Chain or Business Administration
