As part of the Internal Communications Team, the Internal Communications Specialist will be responsible for engaging our store team through the creation and implementation of content that effectively communicates our Dan Murphy's strategy.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
- Manage the flow of all internal communication while prioritising timeliness, accuracy, bringing to life our ways of working and values.
- Creation of engaging written content and management of daily store communication to our network of over 270 stores Australia wide.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and drive a communications plan for activities, initiatives and events, including product launches, seasonal events, brand campaigns, promotional activity and new policies and procedures.
- Working with business operations teams to challenge and improve communications for our teams leveraging comms analytics and insights.
- Supporting our teams by ensuring all communications received from the business are clear, concise and purposeful.
- Keeping our teams informed through various mediums including online, video and internal social media.
- Design & creation of visual content including presentations, digital and video collateral.

We’re looking for someone who has the drive and passion to grow and succeed and who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where change and transformation happen for the good. You’ll have prior experience in internal communications, with your finger on the pulse of engaging communications content and a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a passion and flair for storytelling.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work within tight deadlines.
- Proven success in utilising a collaborative approach to work, consistently thinking beyond the scope of assigned tasks.
- Strong computer literacy skills.
- Content writing experience for all media platforms.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders in a matrix environment
- Be known for having a strong, positive personal brand that is customer-centric
- Have the ability to articulate solutions and influence.
- Demonstrated critical thinking abilities with a strategic and creative mindset.
- Availability to be ‘on-call’ outside standard hours as this role at times will require a quick response/solution to be provided.
Highly Desirable:
- Bachelor’s Degree in communications, journalism, PR, or a related field.
- Proficiency with creative design platforms (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
- Proficiency with Google Suite.
- Experience supporting or working in Retail Operations Teams.
