About the Role
Kitchen Attendant | Burleigh Heads Hotel | Dream big with us!
We’re on the lookout for a reliable and energetic Kitchen Attendant to join our team at Burleigh Heads Hotel. This casual role offers a mix of day, night, weekend and public holiday shifts, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll support our chefs with food preparation, dishwashing, cleaning and general kitchen duties, ensuring our back-of-house runs smoothly. A positive, can-do attitude is essential, along with the ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team. If you're keen to learn, enjoy hospitality, and want to be part of a friendly local venue, we’d love to hear from you!
A day in the life of a Kitchen Attendant:
- Engage in food preparation and additional tasks as directed by your team leader
- Proactively identify and address cleaning opportunities in all areas of the kitchen in line with our high food and safety standards
- Contribute positively to our culture of responsibility, which is centred around safety and procedural compliance
What do we need from you
About you:
- You love working independently or as part of a team to perform routine tasks
- You have flexible availability across the day, evenings and weekends
- You are all about the detail and take pride in the work that you deliver
- You’ll be yourself and come as you are - ALH is known for its people!
Inherent requirements:
- This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
