The Planview Business Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation and user experience of the Planview platform within the One Endeavour Transformation. The Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, providing functional advice to users,  troubleshooting and the basic configuration of Planview to optimise performance to meet business objectives. The role requires a combination of technical understanding and interest, business acumen, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and drive continuous improvement in Planview utilisation.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

  • Configure and maintain Planview application user roles, persona and provision user access aligned to the role and projects. 

  • Perform basic system configuration tasks to maintain optimal performance of the Planview platform.

  • Answer user inquiries and address basic troubleshooting needs related to user access and functionality issues, escalating to Support as required.

  • Deliver user training, documentation and resources to promote effective utilisation of Planview capabilities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the Planview technical support administrator to understand user needs and optimize Planview configurations accordingly. 

  • Facilitating training sessions for new starters and support users with functional and business processes questions relating to Planview. 

  • Updating of training materials aligned to new product and configuration releases  

  • Requirements gathering and maintaining a configuration user  request backlog and support the business and technology owners with prioritisation and business and product improvement. 

  • Timesheet management and following up on submissions and approvals for the transformation program

  • Create and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to monitor key performance metrics and support decision-making processes.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline business processes and improve efficiency through the use of Planview.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new features of the Planview platform, making recommendations for enhancements and optimizations.

  • Lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives to drive continuous improvement in Planview utilization and adoption


Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven administrator experience Planview or similar enterprise strategic portfolio management (SPM) software.
  • Strong technical proficiency configuring software applications, databases, and integrations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Desirable - Certifications in Planview or related technologies (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are a plus.
