The Planview Support Administrator plays a critical role in the efficient operation and maintenance of the Planview platform within the organisation. This role is  responsible for overseeing the day-to-day configuration and support of Planview, ensuring its optimal performance to meet business objectives. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and drive continuous improvement in Planview utilisation.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

• Configure and maintain Planview application settings.

• Manage Planview modules, workflows, forms, and custom attributes to align with business processes and requirements.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Planview functionality and performance.

• Perform and/or oversee routine system maintenance tasks, such as patches, data backups, data loads and system updates.

• Oversee data integrity within Planview, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with data governance policies.

• Management and support for Planview continuous cloud updates, ensuring that releases are deployed in the test environment and tested and validated against our Platform Baseline Configuration (PBC) 

• Validate updates and release them  into the production environment, providing clear and concise guidance and training  to impacted users. Provide technical support and guidance to Planview users, addressing inquiries, issues, and enhancement requests.

• Provide technical support related to integrations between Planview and other systems (eg Jira).

• Perform data imports, exports, and integrations with other systems to streamline data flow and enhance reporting capabilities

• Collaborate with Planview vendor representatives to troubleshoot issues, escalate critical issues, and coordinate upgrades or enhancements.

Now let’s talk about you: 

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.

• Proven experience in supporting Planview or similar enterprise strategic portfolio management (SPM) software.

• In-depth knowledge of Planview functionalities, including advanced configuration and customization options.

• Strong technical proficiency in troubleshooting software applications, databases, and integrations.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Certifications in Planview or related technologies (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are a plus.
