As a Platform Lead, you will oversee the development, maintenance, and optimization of our SAP’s Business Technology Platform (BTP) Integration platform. You will lead a team of engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform meets the organization's scalability, reliability, and performance needs. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP BTP integration suites, software architecture, and best practices in platform engineering.

• Deliver an integration environment that is reliable, effective and addresses technology risk to ensure uptime and delivery within SLAs.

• Deliver a continuous improvement program for the integration environment that meets the organization's evolving needs.

• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to design and implement robust platform architectures that meet the organization's performance, scalability, and security requirements.

• Ensure the SAP integration team contributes to and supports Endeavour’s corporate vision and strategy.

• Work closely with product managers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure alignment with business goals.

• Provide input to the technology direction and define solutions architecture, design, and development for the integration environment, ensuring best practices and leveraging existing technology assets and investments.

• Drive the SAP Business AI topics, especially in the integration area.

• Lead the response to platform incidents, coordinating with the operations team to ensure timely resolution and minimize downtime.

• Ensure the platform complies with relevant regulations and industry standards, implementing security best practices to protect sensitive data and systems.

• Act as a technical subject matter expert, provide product expertise, guidance, and instruction on SAP BTP platforms.

• Aid team members in the development and implementation of technical solutions

• Provide regular updates on team priorities and progress.

Now let’s talk about you: 

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP integration

• Understanding of the SAP BTP platform architecture and catalogue of services.

• Proven experience with BTP Integration Suite components (Cloud Integration, API Management, Integration Advisor, Open Connectors) and Event Mesh

• Experience with the following technologies: OData, REST, SOAP, IDOC, RFC, FTP/SFTP, JDBC, JMS, Kafka, AMQP, MQTT, CSV, XML, JSON, YAML, JAVA, XSL, Groovy/JS

• Analytical, results-driven and a solution-oriented way of work.

• Proven experience (7 years) in designing and developing complex enterprise-grade integrations.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members. At least 3 years in a professional senior technical role such as technical lead, team lead, architect, or any other hands-on leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, and DevOps practices.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.

• Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience with Azure Messaging and Streaming services

• Working knowledge of ITIL and Agile

• Highly organized with strong activity and resource planning skills.

• Experience with DevOps using Azure DevOps, including source control, pipeline and automated testing.

• SAP certification in integration or related areas
