We’re on the hunt for a REAL Publican, a SENIOR Publican, someone who lives and breathes hospitality, leads from the front, and brings locals together by creating pub experiences they love.

Established in the early 2000s, The Watermark Glenelg is a local favourite and a pillar in the local community.
The Watermark is undoubtedly the highest volume, highest quality food venue in South Australia with our Restaurant providing the finest, best quality produce sourced both locally and interstate. Our bistro/bar delivers all the pub classics side by side with ice cold beer or perfectly selected wines.
Just a ten minute drive from the airport and a further ten from Adelaide’s CBD, we’re in a perfect position on the coastline of Glenelg.
A day in the life of a Publican:
- You know the locals by name, they reckon you’re one of their own, all while keeping a sharp eye on the P&L.
- You run the place like it’s your own modern-day home, keeping things safe, smooth, and compliant.
- You're the pillar of the local community and the driving force behind a high-performing team.
- You put out fires before anyone even notices there was smoke.
- You bring the vibe, the service, and the smiles – every shift, every day.
- This is not your first rodeo in Venue Management, You're an experienced operator in high volume, high quality business operations.
Inherent requirements:
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
