We are seeking an authentic, pragmatic, and proactive Safety, Health & Wellbeing Lead to partner across our South Australia, Western Australia, and Northern Territory operations. Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

Reporting to the Head of Safety, Health & Wellbeing Manager, you will serve as a key operational and advisory partner across our retail and hospitality venues in SA, WA, and NT. Your primary focus will be preventing accidents, supporting compliance, and championing both the physical safety and mental wellbeing of our teams.

Working autonomously while staying deeply connected to the field, you will travel across sites to coach teams, conduct site inspections, drive incident investigations, and bring our safety strategy to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with state operations, Brand Managers, and site teams to integrate safety, health, and wellbeing initiatives into daily venue and store operations.
• Conduct Category 1 & 2 root-cause investigations (ICAM), support Category 3 & 4 reviews, manage dangerous occurrences, and implement controls to prevent recurrence.
• Champion wellness initiatives across the region, taking a holistic approach to the physical and mental wellbeing of all team members.
• Support the Endeavour Group Safety Management System, assist with self-insurance audits, oversee regulatory compliance, and liaise with WorkSafe and regulators.
• Analyze incident trends and insights to develop practical risk assessments, safety alerts, work instructions, and continuous improvement projects.
• Conduct new site opening safety inspections, coach new state/area teams during onboarding, and facilitate engaging WHS training programs.

We are looking for a curious, resilient, and collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment. You possess strong critical thinking skills and can balance regulatory compliance with practical operational reality.

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety (Diploma preferred).
• ICAM Certification and a current, valid driver’s license.
• Proven safety background with a strong understanding of retail and/or hospitality fundamentals.
• In-depth knowledge of WHS Acts, Regulations, Codes of Practice, and hazard management principles.
• Demonstrated capability in root-cause investigation, data-driven strategy development, group training facilitation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Willingness to undertake regular intrastate and occasional interstate travel to support our sites.

Desirable Criteria:

• Knowledge of Return to Work / Injury Management processes.
