- Collaborate with SAP Basis and functional teams to ensure that security requirements are integrated into system architecture, design, and implementation.
- Develop and implement role-based access controls (RBAC) and authorisation frameworks to enforce least privilege principles and prevent unauthorised access.
- Monitor SAP system logs and security events to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
- Lead security incident response activities, including investigation, analysis, and remediation of security breaches or unauthorised activities.
- Stay abreast of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends related to SAP systems and advise on best practices for mitigating risks.
- Provide guidance and training to SAP administrators, developers, and end-users on security best practices, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, SOX, PCI DSS).
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of SAP security solutions, tools, and technologies to enhance the security posture of the organisation.
Now let’s talk about you:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP security administration, implementation, and maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP security concepts, including user management, role design, authorisation objects, and segregation of duties (SoD).
- Hands-on experience with SAP security tools and technologies, such as SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), SAP Security Notes, and SAP Solution Manager.
- Strong understanding of SAP system architecture, components, and integration points.
- Familiarity with SAP security best practices and guidelines published by SAP and industry organisations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and propose effective solutions.
