The Senior Manager Security Strategy and Architecture is a key role leading our security strategy and architecture team. This role is crucial in defining, implementing, and maintaining our security architecture to protect our Endeavour’s information assets. 

The successful candidate will take a proactive approach to security, designing and implementing systems and processes that will anticipate and defend against attacks. They will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that our security posture is robust, forward-looking, and aligned with business objectives.

This role requires strong collaboration with key teams at Endeavour including Technology, Data Governance and Privacy,Group Risk and transformation to realise the next stage in our Cyber journey.

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy aligned with Endeavour’s goals and objectives.
• Lead the security architecture team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align security initiatives with business priorities.

Security Architecture:

• Design and oversee the implementation of enterprise security architecture.
• Ensure security architecture integrates with overall IT architecture and business processes.
• Evaluate and recommend security technologies and tools to enhance the organisations security posture.

Cyber Strategy and Governance:

• Provide Security Architecture and Strategy leadership to the Security Architecture team.
• Be accountable for Cyber strategy, security architecture governance, and patterns for both transformation and non-transformation projects/initiatives.
• Develop and enforce security architecture governance and standards.

Now let’s talk about you

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security strategy and architecture.
• Proven experience in leading security architecture teams and managing large-scale security projects.
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
• Strong understanding of threat intelligence, risk management, and incident response.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, TOGAF) are highly desirable.
