We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Solution Architect to lead the end-to-end architecture and solution design across our People & Culture capabilities. This includes domains such as Hire to Retire, Time & Attendance, Rostering, Staff Communication, and Safety & Wellbeing, underpinned by platforms including SAP SuccessFactors, UKG, ServiceNow, and other supporting corporate systems.
This role will play a critical part in shaping scalable, secure, and human-centered technology solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in solution architecture design, and workforce technologies, along with strong stakeholder engagement skills to align solutions with business strategy and operational needs.

Solution Architecture & Design
Design scalable, secure, and fit-for-purpose end-to-end architectures across People & Culture capabilities, including Hire to Retire, Time & Attendance, Rostering, Staff Communication, and Safety & Wellbeing.
Translate complex business requirements into clear architectural models, aligned to business strategy and enterprise architecture principles.
Collaborate with product owners, business SMEs, and platform teams to ensure solutions meet both operational and employee experience objectives.
Architectural Governance & Standards
Maintain and uplift architectural standards, reference architectures, and solution design templates for corporate applications and platforms
Ensure consistency, quality, security, and reusability across solutions leveraging platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, UKG, ServiceNow, and related systems.
Contribute to enterprise architecture forums and governance bodies, advocating for platform alignment and scalable designs.
Technical Leadership & Mentorship
Provide architectural oversight and technical guidance to delivery teams across the full solution lifecycle, from conceptual design through to implementation and support.
Mentor solution designers, developers, engineering and analysts to uplift capability in modern solution architecture and best practices.
Champion the adoption of human-centered design and agile delivery principles in People & Culture technology initiatives.
Integration & Interoperability
Design robust integration solutions that connect People Systems with the broader enterprise ecosystem (e.g. Payroll, Finance, ITSM, Learning).
Ensure interoperability across platforms with a focus on data consistency, automation, and seamless user experience.
Work closely with integration, data, and security architects to define and validate patterns.
Performance, Scalability & Resilience
Proactively identify architectural risks and technical debt, and define strategies to address performance, scalability, and resilience.
Support non-functional requirements analysis (e.g. availability, reliability, response times) and solution validation through testing and design reviews.
Risk Management & Security
Embed security and compliance controls into solution designs, ensuring alignment with privacy, identity, and data protection policies.
Partner with Cyber and Risk stakeholders to assess solution risks and develop mitigation strategies aligned to Zero Trust and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders, clearly articulating solution options, trade-offs, and recommendations.
Drive alignment between architecture, business strategy, and delivery outcomes through ongoing engagement and communication.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
Produce and maintain high-quality architectural design documentation, including conceptual models, solution overviews, interface maps, and decision records.

Now let’s talk about you:
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect, with demonstrated success designing and delivering solutions across platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, UKG, and ServiceNow.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, solution design, and architectural best practices.
Proven experience in designing and integrating people-centric systems, including Hire to Retire, Time & Attendance, Rostering, and Staff Communication capabilities.
Solid knowledge of integration architectures (e.g. API Gateway, ETL, ESB), with hands-on experience in technologies such as REST, JSON, XML, and authentication mechanisms (OAuth, SAML).
Practical experience with cloud platforms, ideally including Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business narratives.
Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with a focus on solution scalability, maintainability, and performance.
Awareness of emerging technologies, cybersecurity considerations, and trends in the HR and enterprise applications landscape.
Desirable
Experience working in agile, product-led delivery environments
Familiarity with architecture modelling tools (e.g. Ardoq)
Professional certifications such as:
TOGAF or similar Enterprise Architecture framework
Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Architect
Identity platform certifications (e.g. Azure AD)
SAP certifications (e.g. SAP Certified Associate – SAP SuccessFactors, or higher)
