Sous Chef | The Beach | Dream big with us!

We’re looking for a Sous Chef who is truly sous-per. Supporting the Head Chef, you’ll use your collaborative skills to develop the kitchen team and increase operational efficiency. In this role, you’ll play an integral part in delivering pub experiences our locals love. If you’ve got enough passion to sprinkle onto every plate, we’d love to hear from you.
A day in the life of a Sous Chef:
- Provide inspiring mentorship to the kitchen team and promote a positive and productive atmosphere
- Support the Head Chef with food preparation, inventory management, food safety and operational tasks
- Contribute to our culture, which is centred around safety and hygiene, keeping the guest experience at the heart of everything you do
What do we need from you
About you:
- You have great experience as a Sous Chef in a fast paced kitchen with the necessary trade cooking qualifications
- You know that the recipe for an exceptional guest experience contains the perfect mix of passion and productivity
- You are hungry to produce high quality dishes and have an entrepreneurial spirit
- You’ll be yourself and come as you are - ALH is known for its people!
