As a Function Sales Executive, you will develop and foster business through proactive inbound and outbound sales and develop strategic action plans for the venues to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue and hit targets.
You will participate in all sales activities and work in line with the sales and marketing plan for the various market segments in order to exceed venue revenue and targets. We will provide training, coaching and support that will equip you to be a confident Sales Manager who stands out in the market by achieving exceptional results.

Here is a taste of what you can expect in this role:
- Understand the ALH business strategies, set goals and determine action plans to meet those goals.
- Identify new markets and business opportunities to increase sales.
- Conduct daily sales calls and arrange site inspection trips to venues by corporate clients.
- Provide quick and timely responses, immediate communication to the properties, and develop professional long term business relationships.
- Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
- Execute and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g. generating proposal, writing up contract, customer correspondence).
- Support venue service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
- Identify opportunities to cross sell between multiple sites to keep business within the group.
- Develop strong relationships with the venue teams to ensure working in unity and always striving to achieve the same goals.
- Provide training and support to venue teams on event coordination.
- Attending all venue meetings as necessary.
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
- Develop relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities.
- Closely follow up on all business leads within a 24 hour response time line to clients.
Now let’s talk about you:
- Proven record in function and/or events sales, ideally in multi venue sales or sales experience within the hospitality industry
- Knowledge of and network in the hospitality industry
- Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and organise workflow
- Working cooperatively with the management team
- Outstanding communication skills
- Great problem-solving & time management skills
- A friendly, energetic personality with an ability to build rapport easily
- Pride and attention to detail
- Current driver’s licence and own vehicle
