Endeavour Group demerged from Woolworths in 2021 and as part of the transition is taking the opportunity to transform how we operate as an independent business and establish supporting technology.
12 month Fixed Term Contract - the Master Scheduler - One Team will play a vital role in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of project activities to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. Working closely with project managers, stakeholders, and team members, the Project Scheduler will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analysing project schedules, identifying critical path activities, and implementing schedule optimisation strategies to mitigate risks and maximise resource utilisation. The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6) in alignment with project objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and team members to gather project scope, requirements, and constraints for schedule development.
- Analyse project schedules to identify critical path activities, dependencies, constraints, and potential scheduling conflicts.
- Monitor and track project progress, milestones, and deliverables against the established schedule, and provide regular updates to project stakeholders.
- Identify schedule deviations, delays, and risks, and propose corrective actions and mitigation strategies to ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Conduct schedule risk analysis and scenario planning to assess the impact of potential risks and uncertainties on project schedules.
- Communicate schedule-related information, updates, and recommendations to project teams and stakeholders through reports, presentations, and meetings.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on scheduling best practices, methodologies, and tools.
- Continuously evaluate and optimise project schedules to enhance efficiency, resource utilisation, and project performance.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the project team
Now let’s talk about you
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years proven experience as a Project Scheduler or in a similar role within Retail.
- Proficiency in scheduling software such as Planview, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile) is desirable.
- Relevant certifications such as PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional) or equivalent are a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse complex project data and identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Be available for 12 months fixed term contract
