Endeavour Group is embarking on a major transformation, transitioning applications and infrastructure from Woolworths to our independent IT operating model. This large-scale IT transformation will ensure business continuity, operational readiness, and future scalability across Dan Murphy’s and BWS retail store systems.
We’re looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead this critical program, working cross-functionally with technology, operations, and external vendors to deliver seamless migration and operational success.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the IT transition and transformation, overseeing the end-to-end migration of core retail store systems from Woolworths to Endeavour Group, ensuring smooth execution with minimal business disruption.
- Drive operational readiness and risk mitigation by implementing contingency plans, change management, and business readiness activities to maintain continuity in store operations.
- Align technology and business strategy, ensuring that the new IT operating model supports Endeavour Group’s business objectives, architectural principles, and future growth.
- Manage complex dependencies by collaborating with Woolworths transition teams, internal stakeholders, and vendors to align on key milestones, identify risks, and proactively manage interdependencies.
- Lead vendor and stakeholder engagement by managing third-party vendors, ensuring contractual obligations, SLAs, and project deliverables are met. Regularly update executives, steering committees, and project teams on progress and challenges.
- Ensure seamless system integration and data migration by working closely with technology teams to oversee system integrations, data migration, and cutover planning for retail systems.
- Support post-migration stabilisation by tracking system performance, managing incident resolution, and ensuring a smooth transition into BAU operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in IT transformation and ERP environments with a strong background in large-scale system transitions, data migrations, and operational readiness within a complex retail or ERP landscape.
- Retail/trial environment expertise, with a deep understanding of retail store systems and business continuity challenges during IT migrations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, operations, and external vendors.
- Experience in risk mitigation and change management, with a track record of proactively managing business risk, technology transitions, and operational change impacts.
- Agility and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to adapt in a fast-moving environment while making strategic decisions and driving continuous improvement.
- Experience in vendor and contract management, with confidence in overseeing third-party technology providers and ensuring alignment with project goals and business objectives.
- Project management excellence, with the ability to deliver outcomes continuously, balancing scope, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
